Buildner Reveals Winners of the 6th Annual Last Nuclear Bomb Memorial Competition

Buildner announced results for the Last Nuclear Bomb Memorial No.6, an annual competition supporting a universal ban on nuclear weapons. The competition recognizes the 2017 UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, adopted on the 75th anniversary of the 1945 bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Buildner invites conceptual designs for a memorial to be placed on any known decommissioned nuclear weapon testing site. The memorial concept must reflect the history and ongoing threat of nuclear weapons, promote public awareness of nuclear disarmament, and commemorate victims of nuclear warfare while conveying the need for a nuclear-free future. Submissions must be silent, with no text, titles, or annotations.
