Sazerac's AJ Bond Distillery: New Tennessee Whiskey
""John and I worked together for 20 years, and he played a major role in shaping my understanding of the chemistry behind distillation," said Henley."
""Seeing [the whiskey] now aging in our warehouses has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career," Henley shared."
Sazerac has named its Tennessee operation AJ Bond Distillery, marking its first venture into Tennessee whiskey with a flagship product set for summer 2026. The distillery honors the partnership between Master Distillers Allisa Henley and the late John Lunn, who significantly contributed to Sazerac's whiskey operations. Their collaboration began in 2004, leading to the establishment of Sazerac's Tennessee whiskey operations in 2016. The distillery will produce whiskey from a mashbill developed by Henley and Lunn, combining tradition with innovation.
