A niche subcategory of gin, featuring hops, is emerging, connecting beer lovers with a new drinking experience. Distillers creatively utilize hops as a botanical to enhance gin's flavor profile, enriching its aromatic character with floral and citrus notes similar to those found in beer. This exploration not only provides a novel beverage choice but also reflects the ongoing curiosity about the relationship between brewing and distilling. The use of hops is seen as a natural extension of gin’s traditional botanical mixing.
