A change at NYS Fair 2025 you might not notice (unless you drink or sell craft beer)
"I have no problem selling New York beers, as long as customers are buying it," Sommers said."
"So we'll see how it goes."
"Get more New York craft beer? For us it's 'Game on!'"
"They say it's made in New York, so we have it," said Tikki"
The New York State Fair increased the requirement for beverages made in New York from 80 percent to 90 percent for 2025 vendors. Vendors responded by adding more New York craft beers such as Ithaca Apricot Wheat Ale, Lake Placid Ubu Ale and Sloop Juice Bomb. Some stands embraced the change enthusiastically, while others noted customer demand will determine sales. Non-New York brands remain available in some locations. Corporate brewing and out-of-state brands produced at New York facilities, including Anheuser-Busch InBev products, can still qualify as made in New York.
