Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir and Cecilía Rúnarsdóttir have signed permanent deals with Inter Milan following their loans from Bayern Munich. Vilhjálmsdóttir played for Bayer Leverkusen last season, scoring seven goals and providing twelve assists, showing significant improvement. Rúnarsdóttir transferred to Bayern after a loan from Everton, made 18 appearances for the second team, but didn't feature in the first team. During her loan to Inter, she played 23 matches, recorded ten clean sheets, and helped the team qualify for the Champions League. Both are now competing for Iceland in the W Euros.
Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir joined Bayern in 2021, making appearance for both the first and second teams. She had two goals and two assists over the three years in Munich.
Rúnarsdóttir came to Bayern on loan from Everton in January of 2022. She stayed in Munich on permanent deal that summer and made 18 appearances for the second team.
