South stand of the Allianz Arena closed for the match against Saint-Gilloise
"Following the repeated use of pyrotechnics in the Südkurv e (south stand) during UEFA Champions League home games, FC Bayern has been fined €50,000 by the UEFA Disciplinary Committee and handed a partial ban covering sectors 111 to 114 of the Allianz Arena for its next UEFA club competition home match. Following the incident during the game against Sporting Lisbon on 9 December 2025, the penalty, which had originally been suspended, will now take effect during the upcoming home game against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on 21 January."
"As tickets for FC Bayern's home games in the lower tier of the Südkurve are not allocated by block and all 9,336 tickets are valid for blocks 109 to 117, it is technically impossible for the club to cancel only the 4,800 tickets for blocks 111 to 114. For this reason, all tickets for the Südkurve will be cancelled in a first step, and the club will refund the ticket price to the respective purchasers."
FC Bayern received a €50,000 fine and a partial ban covering sectors 111 to 114 of the Allianz Arena after repeated use of pyrotechnics in the Südkurve. The originally suspended penalty will take effect for the home match against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on 21 January following the incident on 9 December 2025. Lower-tier Südkurve tickets are not block-specific and all 9,336 tickets cover blocks 109 to 117, making selective cancellation of blocks 111 to 114 impossible. Consequently, all Südkurve tickets will be cancelled and purchasers will receive refunds. Potential resale of blocks 109-110 and 115-117 will be announced later with organisational details.
