""the world's memory is no longer intact - a new, old hatred has re-emerged after decades beneath the surface". We must never forget "what humans can do to other humans", she reminded us, citing a vivid example: "The Jewish community in Upper Bavaria is so small that it would not even fill a third of the Allianz Arena. The joint Shabbat celebration held by FC Bayern and the Jewish Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria on International Holocaust Remembrance Day attracted growing interest, with 500 applications and many attendees travelling long distances. FC Bayern players Magda Eriksson, Mala Grohs and Katharina Naschenweng attended for the first time. The weekend included guided tours of the FC Bayern Museum and a special TEENS CLUB tour. FC Bayern framed the event within its Red Against Racism initiative, promoting local encounter spaces and dialogue. IKGM president Charlotte Knobloch warned about rising anti‑Semitism and called for protection, support and solidarity.
