Katharina Naschenweng extended her contract with FC Bayern Women until 30 June 2028. The Austria international joined Bayern in summer 2023 and helped secure two Bundesliga titles, one DFB Cup and two Supercup wins. Bianca Rech highlighted Naschenweng's left-footed pace, versatility in attack and defence, and her fitting personality within the team culture. Naschenweng praised the club environment, the support she received during injury, and the feeling of being at home in Munich. A cruciate ligament operation sidelined her for the 2024/25 season, and she subsequently fought back to remain a key full-back.
