Josip Stanišić, after a successful loan at Bayer Leverkusen that contributed to their unbeaten Bundesliga title and DFB-Pokal trophy, has returned to Bayern Munich where his contract has been extended until 2029. Despite suffering a knee injury that sidelined him for the first half of the season, Stanišić remains optimistic about his and the team's future, aspiring to instill a dominant mindset at the Allianz Arena. Bayern has also secured the contracts of other young talents such as Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies, planning for a strong competitive future.
