Jamal Musiala working to come back stronger from injury
"I think you learn a lot during an injury, For example, I see how much fun you normally have and how much I love football. And you have the time to calmly look at everything you can do better. You don't have that time to think about everything on the pitch. And obviously I want to come back better."
"You can see how well we're playing, how much fun everyone's having. I want to be a part of that and back on the pitch, also with Phonzy. We want to have fun after our injuries and make sure we win a lot as a team."
"I've been with my family almost the whole time since my injury. They've helped me a lot, also to be able to switch off from everything."
Jamal Musiala has been sidelined since breaking his leg and ankle at the FIFA Club World Cup and is working with fitness coaches on his recovery. Musiala says injury offers time to reflect, appreciate football and identify areas for improvement, and he wants to return better. He has been recovering alongside Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito, with the three players motivating each other daily. Musiala enjoys music, spends downtime with family and plays video games while watching Bayern achieve ten wins from ten matches so far this season.
