How did Guido Della Rovere adjust to life as a Bayern Munich player?
Briefly

Guido Della-Rovere, playing for Bayern Munich, shared the struggles he faced when he moved to Germany, particularly regarding the language barrier and adjusting to a new environment. Initially, he couldn't speak German and had poor English, relying on teammate Davide Dell'Erba for translations. A long-term injury added to his challenges, as he dealt with feelings of loneliness and self-doubt. Despite this, Della-Rovere found strength in moments of solitude, emphasizing the importance of his family's support while managing his rehabilitation and developing mental resilience.
The language was a big obstacle. I didn't know a word of German and my English wasn't particularly good either. At the time, Davide translated a lot for me.
Everything was new: where I lived, the school, my teammates. I remember that I could hardly utter a word in the first two months.
They visited me once a month for the first six months: my parents, my younger brother and my older sister. They are very important to me.
I also like being alone and draw my strength from moments like that. That's how it was in rehab. I worked very hard on myself.
