She was selected from several young female and male athletes in a vote involving school representatives and the Olympic centre. Kett moved from SpVgg GW Deggendorf to FC Bayern in 2020 and worked her way into the first team through hard work and talent. She won the first double in FC Bayern Women's history last year. She earned her first call-up to the German national team, featured in the EURO squad, was selected for the Team of the Tournament, and completed her Abitur.
