Fireworks, parades and more planned for Fourth of July around the Bay Area

There are numerous Fourth of July events scheduled across the Bay Area that cater to various interests. In San Jose, the Rose, White & Blue Parade features a car cruise and Lucha Libre matches. Mountain View provides an unforgettable fireworks experience with on-the-water viewing, while Six Flags Discovery Kingdom hosts a unique drone show. Mission College also offers a vantage point for the fireworks, accompanied by food trucks and games. Morgan Hill celebrates its history with a parade and fireworks, concluding the day with festivities.
The 18th annual Rose, White & Blue Parade and Festival in San Jose will feature a car cruise, parade, performances, and Lucha Libre matches, starting at 9:45 a.m. on July 4. This event is free.
The Shoreline Lake Fireworks Show in Mountain View will allow on-the-water viewing from various types of boats, coupled with a BBQ dinner available for patrons from 6 - 8 p.m.
At Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, a drone show with 200 drones will be synchronized to music at 9:15 p.m. on July 4, creating a festive atmosphere for visitors.
Morgan Hill will celebrate 150 years with a Freedom Fest Parade starting at 10 a.m., followed by a fireworks show in the evening, with entries ending at 9 p.m.
