FC Bayern conducted traditional New Year fan-club visits across Germany, Austria and northern Italy the day after training resumed and two days before a friendly in Salzburg. President Herbert Hainer, CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, board members and sporting directors joined head coach Vincent Kompany and numerous players on visits to dozens of fan clubs. Journeys included trips to Lower Bavaria, Chiemgau, Aalen, Schechen, Ried, Niederndorf, Ahrntal and North Rhine-Westphalia. Club legends and former players also participated. Luis Díaz made his fan-club debut and described settling into Munich and feeling at home with the club.
