FC Bayern Women striker Jovana Damnjanović warmed up with basketball alongside FC Bayern president Herbert Hainer ahead of the sixth Giro di Monaco in Munich. The club supports the charity run organized by the Bellevue di Monaco community center, where participants will run laps on the Altstadtring on 17 May to raise funds for refugees. Last year, more than 10,000 residents took part and the €125,000 fundraising goal was reached. Hainer linked the support to the club’s Red Against Racism initiative, emphasizing openness, tolerance, and diversity. He described workshops and school visits where players with migratory backgrounds are removed from a starting XI to show how isolated a team would become without diversity.
