"German football is devoting the matchday featuring Bayern and Augsburg at the Allianz Arena to the !Nie wieder! (Never Again) initiative. Every year, this commemorates the atrocities committed during the Nazi dictatorship and raises awareness that history must never be allowed to repeat itself. Before kick-off, the players from both teams will gather behind a banner, and relevant clips will be shown on the stadium screen."
"In addition, FC Bayern will be dedicating an entire weekend at the end of January to the culture of remembrance for the fourth consecutive year as part of its Red Against Racism initiative, together with the Jewish Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria and its president, Dr Charlotte Knobloch. Members of the Jewish community will celebrate Shabbat together with members of the club, with Knobloch and club president Herbert Hainer sharing the patronage. In addition, the FC Bayern Museum is once again organising city tours through Munich following in the footsteps of FC Bayern during the Nazi era. This year, for the first time, there will also be an additional special tour for members of the TEENS CLUB."
The matchday featuring Bayern and Augsburg at the Allianz Arena will be dedicated to the !Nie wieder! (Never Again) initiative, with players gathering behind a banner and clips shown on the stadium screen. Bayern supports the We Remember campaign, commemorating victims of National Socialism since 2016, with CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen participating as the club representative in 2026. The timing coincides with International Holocaust Remembrance Day, marking the liberation of Auschwitz on 27 January 1945. FC Bayern will also dedicate an end-of-January weekend to remembrance through its Red Against Racism initiative with the Jewish Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria, Shabbat events, museum city tours tracing the club's Nazi-era history, and a new TEENS CLUB tour.
