More than two million volunteers are active in around 86,000 sports clubs throughout Germany. FC Bayern launched the 'PACK MA'S' volunteer programme to enable members to actively participate in the club. Over 200 members have registered and 80 attended a networking kickoff at the FC Bayern Campus. Volunteer roles include member events, the 'ZAM AKTIV' exercise programme, the Red Against Racism initiative, and support for various sports departments. Members supported the annual general meeting and a commemorative march around Lake Tegernsee marking 65 years since promotion to the Bundesliga. ZAM AKTIV operates in over 100 schools and daycare centres in Munich and surrounding areas.
