FC Bayern and BFV launch training partnership
"With the launch of a new partnership between FC Bayern and the Bavarian Football Association (BFV), graduates of jointly developed courses will in future receive not only the club's internal training qualification but also the official UEFA C and B licences, which are otherwise awarded and assessed exclusively by the regional associations. The German champions have been heavily involved in international coach training since 2016"
"another building block in our coach training programme, which is highly regarded. Thanks to the in-depth expertise of our association coaches, who focus on all developments in football, we guarantee modern and innovative training. The fact that we are now also awarding licences together with FC Bayern confirms our high quality standards and will give our training in Bavaria an additional boost."
FC Bayern and the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) have formed a partnership to jointly deliver coach training that awards both the club's internal qualification and official UEFA C and B licences. The BFV conducts about 1,300 C and B licence courses per year and brings association coaching expertise. FC Bayern has provided international coach training since 2016 and will align the joint courses with its training philosophy. From 2026, international coaches can follow a UEFA-certified pathway tied to FC Bayern's methods. Graduates will gain practical knowledge of FC Bayern's approach and an internationally recognised UEFA licence, preparing them for modern football demands.
