"Yan Diomande remains 'very highly rated' by Bayern Munich, however, there are concerns over the potential price tag, reports Christian Falk. The reigning Bundesliga champions are looking to reinforce the left flank in the summer. The 19-year-old has put himself in a prime position for a summer sale with a remarkable debut Bundesliga campaign, registering 11 goal contributions (in all competitions) in 18 games."
"FC Bayern want to sign a rival for Luis Diaz on the left. They want a young player - he fits the bill as a 19-year-old talent. However, they need someone who would be okay with not having regular minutes on the left flanks, as Lucho is currently the out-and-out starter for that position. They need someone who will be there for the long term."
Bayern Munich rate 19-year-old Yan Diomande highly and view him as a potential young rival for Luis Díaz on the left flank. Diomande produced 11 goal contributions in 18 games during a breakthrough debut Bundesliga season and logged 1,010 of a possible 1,350 Bundesliga minutes. Bayern want a long-term option who accepts limited minutes behind Díaz. RB Leipzig hold Diomande under contract for more than four years and are likely to demand a substantial transfer fee. Red Bull managing director Oliver Mintzlaff signaled that Leipzig would not sell Diomande for €80m or €90m.
