Hertha Berlin midfielder Kennet Eichhorn is a top German youth prospect and a summer target for Bayern Munich. Sport Bild’s Christian Falk reports Bayern are not leading the deal, with Borussia Dortmund having met in February and RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt also ahead due to greater playing-time prospects. Bayern’s midfield options include returning Noël Aséko, Tom Bischof, Joshua Kimmich, and Aleksandar Pavlović, making regular minutes difficult. Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg says a Manchester City buy-and-loan with Bayer Leverkusen is feasible, and Eichhorn remains a priority for Bayern and Leipzig while Dortmund is not in pole position. Meetings with five clubs have occurred and the decision remains open.
"❌ It is NOT TRUE: Bayern are leading the race to sign Kennet Eichhorn. Other clubs are closer to this deal. In February, there was already a meeting with Borussia Dortmund, where they tried to secure this big talent. I think RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are also in front, as they can offer more playing time."
