Bayern Munich has a plan of attack for campus talent Javier Fernandez

Bayern Munich's academy traditionally struggles to produce talent, yet Javi Fernández stands out as a promising midfielder. Injuries have hindered his progress; he is currently sidelined for three months due to a knee injury. In light of his potential, the club aims to reintegrate him through the second team once he recovers, focusing on maintaining his fitness. This structured approach may eventually lead to a loan opportunity, positioning Fernández as a strong candidate to join the senior team alongside other young talents like Aleksandar Pavlović.

Many at the FC Bayern Campus rave about Javi Fernández (18) as the most talented midfielder in the academy. The Spaniard has been very unlucky with injuries and is currently out for at least three months with a knee injury.

Bayern's plan for Fernández is to give him game time with the second team after he recovers, keep him fit over a longer period of time, and then to loan him out in order to take the next step.
