Bayern Munich exercised its buy-back clause for 20-year-old midfielder Noël Aseko, bringing him back from Hannover 96 at the end of the season. Aseko joined Bayern's campus from Hertha Berlin in summer 2022 and made 30 reserve team appearances before being loaned to Hannover in winter 2025 for senior-level experience. At Hannover, he accumulated 27 appearances with three goals and five assists in Bundesliga 2. The German U21 international, who has earned five caps for the national team, will return to Munich with a contract through June 2028. Bayern plans for Aseko to compete for first-team opportunities during preseason preparations.
