""I loved playing there. It was a big step for me to move from a small club like Groningen - my boyhood club - to PSV Eindhoven,""
""Even though I was only there for a short time and quickly moved abroad, I had a terrific time there. PSV is a really nice club.""
Arjen Robben participated in the FC Bayern Legends Cup at SAP Garden in Munich on 18 January and recently turned 42. Robben emphasized Bayern's capacity to beat any opponent when the team is in good form. He reflected positively on his early professional years at PSV Eindhoven from summer 2002 to summer 2004, recording 21 goals and 21 assists in 75 competitive appearances and winning the 2003 Dutch championship and the 2004 Johan Cruyff Shield. Robben moved from PSV to Chelsea in 2004, later joined Real Madrid, and then signed for Bayern in 2009. Bayern sit second in their Champions League group with 18 points while PSV have eight points and have produced notable upsets in the phase.
