The April 11 incident claimed the lives of Agustín Escobar, Mercè Camprubí Montal, and their three children. During the service, Joan Camprubí shared poignant memories, underscoring the family's joyful spirit despite their loss. Notable attendees included regional leaders, and the emotional tribute highlighted the family's love for life and the legacy of happiness they leave behind.
"We have been in pain for the last 11 days, but they will always remain in our memories and remind us from up high to never lose our ability to smile," said the woman's father, Joan Camprubí.
"A trip that was intended to celebrate the ninth birthday of the couple's middle child ended up being the family's final moments," recalling their joyful smiles before the flight.
