"A Ryanair flight travelling from Marrakech, Morocco, to Barcelona, Spain, was forced to make an emergency landing at Fez‑Saïss Airport after a passenger's behaviour became so disruptive that the flight could not continue safely. The decision to divert came after crew and passengers were unable to control the situation mid‑flight, prompting the pilot to land at the nearest suitable airport in Fez."
"Our plane was forced to land in Fez, this woman was clearly drunk and acting crazy, because they were unable to detain her the captain decided to land the plane in the nearest airport. Ryanair was incapable of realising that this woman was boarding the flight in a state of inebriation and with dangerous behaviour, many passengers also did not notice this. What was most shocking for me however was the fact that we were in a country where alcohol is not available."

Video footage circulated on social media showing threats toward other travellers and crew being unable to calm the situation. Local airport security and law enforcement boarded the plane to remove the disruptive passenger.
