"We are committed to building bridges between the Super League and UEFA,"
"Barça's position is clear. Those affected and those concerned are already aware of that. We are in favour of pacification because there is a way forward for the clubs in the Super League to return to UEFA."
"We feel very close to UEFA and the EFC. It is important that we are there and that we implement everything that can be improved, both in UEFA and in the EFC."
Barcelona has signalled an intention to rebuild relationships with UEFA and rejoin the European Football Clubs (EFC) after relations broke down in 2021 when the club was a founder member of the European Super League. President Joan Laporta attended an EFC event in Rome and said the club wants to improve relationships with both UEFA and the EFC while pursuing reconciliation between competing structures. Laporta emphasised a commitment to 'building bridges', favoured pacification, and described a pathway for Super League clubs to return to UEFA. The original Super League saw most founder clubs withdraw, leaving only a few holdouts including Real Madrid.
