
Syntrio Solutions LLC is acquiring the fiber-optic assets of Tri-County Electric Cooperative in Azle, Texas, to advance fiber deployment in the region. The deal terms were not announced. Syntrio, which has served North Texas and Southern Oklahoma for 75 years, provides internet and managed IT services to residential and business customers. Syntrio will integrate the former Tri-County network into its existing network. The 250-mile fiber network expands coverage to include all or parts of Archer, Baylor, Hood, Jack, Palo Pinto, Parker, Tarrant, Wise, and Young counties, and adds redundancy through additional fiber routes. The acquisition supports Syntrio’s mission as a regional broadband provider and follows prior expansion into Aledo and Parker County communities.
