Arch Manning completed 18 of 21 passes for 309 yards and three touchdown passes while adding two first-half rushing touchdowns as Texas rolled to a 55-0 victory over Sam Houston. Manning connected with Ryan Wingo for 53- and 13-yard touchdown receptions in the third quarter before exiting with Texas leading 45-0. Manning completed 14 passes consecutively at one point after entering the game with a 55% completion rate on the season. Teammates and coach noted a regained confidence and freer play. Manning apologized after flexing over a defender, calling the gesture built-up frustration.
