LaCale London returns to the Falcons
"The one-time undrafted free agent spent three years with the Bears, chiefly on their practice squad, and one year with the XFL's St. Louis Battlehawks before the Falcons scooped him up in 2023. He appeared in seven games that year and looked very solid, but then spent the entire 2024 season on the practice squad with Jimmy Lake as the defensive coordinator."
"With Jeff Ulbrich back in town and Nate Ollie coaching the defensive line, London flourished in 2025, putting up a career high five sacks and providing above average work against the run. Given his extremely solid play, London figured to be a priority for a team that needs all the help it can get along their defensive front, and thankfully he was."
LaCale London, an undrafted free agent, has been re-signed by the Falcons following a career year in 2025. After spending three years with the Bears' practice squad and one season with the XFL's St. Louis Battlehawks, London joined Atlanta in 2023. He appeared in seven games that year but spent the entire 2024 season on the practice squad. With new defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich and defensive line coach Nate Ollie in place for 2025, London flourished, recording a career-high five sacks and providing above-average run defense. His strong performance made him a priority re-signing for a team needing defensive line help.
