Jeff Ulbrich's Dreadful Son Was Behind The Shedeur Sanders Prank Call | Defector
Briefly

During the NFL draft, Shedeur Sanders received a prank call from Jax Ulbrich, the son of Falcons coach Jeff Ulbrich. Jax falsely claimed to be New Orleans Saints' GM Mickey Loomis, telling Sanders he would be drafted soon but had to wait. This unsettling moment left Sanders confused in front of his guests. After being identified through a recorded call, Jax admitted his actions were selfish and childish, as he acquired Sanders's number unintentionally. The Falcons later clarified how the incident occurred, emphasizing the lack of his father's involvement.
On Friday night I made a tremendous mistake. Shedeur, what I did was completely inexcusable, embarrassing and shameful. I'm so sorry I took away from your moment, it was selfish and childish.
The Falcons explained how Jax obtained Shedeur's number, stating he 'unintentionally came across the draft contact phone number for Shedeur Sanders off an open iPad while visiting his parent's home.'
As pranks go, this was mostly confusing; Sanders's response to the call was to ask the guests at his draft party, 'What does that mean?'
The calls were recorded and posted online, which led to Jax's identification as the prankster, further complicating the situation for Sanders.
