Which random rotation guy is going to stick through the rest of the year?
Briefly

The Braves are adjusting their starting rotation following Didier Fuentes' demotion to Triple-A. Nathan Wiles replaces him, but the team still has challenges with the current starters. Chris Sale, Spencer Schwellenbach, and Reynaldo Lopez likely won't return to form in 2025. The other candidates for rotation spots like Davis Daniel and Hurston Waldrep have concerning performance metrics. Jackson Stephens remains a viable option, as he has performed adequately in Gwinnett. The team is navigating an odd rotation structure while trying to find effective starting options moving forward.
Nathan Wiles took Fuentes' place. The Braves could just give Wiles a bunch of starts and not worry, despite having an odd structure to their rotation.
At this point, I don't see much of a reason for Chris Sale, Spencer Schwellenbach, or Reynaldo Lopez to come back in 2025, except as basically a tune-up.
Daniel has an xFIP above 5.00 in Triple-A. Waldrep is barely better but has pedigree, while Suarez hasn't been a real option since late May.
Jackson Stephens has at least not been horrible at Gwinnett, making him a fun choice as the Braves figure out their starting rotation.
