Ronald Acuna Jr. and Matt Olson set to represent as Braves host MLB All-Star Game
Briefly

The 95th MLB All-Star Game will be hosted by the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park in 2025. This marks the Braves' fifth time hosting the event, across five different stadiums. Ronald Acuña Jr. will participate for the fifth time, while Matt Olson will join for a third time. Chris Sale, an All-Star selection, will not play due to injury but is recognized for his achievement. This All-Star appearance is unique for Acuña and Olson as it is their first in their home stadium. Acuña expressed excitement to compete against AL superstars.
Acuña and Olson are no strangers to this stage - this'll be Acuña's fifth go-around playing in the All-Star Game, while this will be Olson's third time participating.
Acuña himself is predictably amped up and excited to be playing in the event, as he told me yesterday at the Media Day event something to the effect of that he's "excited to face off against all of the superstars from the AL and the rest of baseball."
This is still a first for all four of Atlanta's All-Star representatives since this'll be the first time that any of them will have played an All-Star Game in their home ballpark.
With that being said, Chris Sale was selected by his peers as an All-Star but obviously he's injured so he won't be playing. Still, Sale definitely deserves to be here and as evidenced by this being the ninth time that he's made it, he's basically become a fixture for the event.
