Marcell Ozuna's hip injury necessitates lineup changes for the Atlanta Braves. GM Alex Anthopoulos reassured that Ozuna can play, albeit while managing pain. In the new batting order, Ozuna drops to the fifth spot, with Riley moving to the third. It's a new day so it must be a new lineup for that Atlanta Braves. After news came out Monday that Marcell Ozuna has a tear in his hip, GM Alex Anthopoulos confirmed Ozuna could still play, but would just have to manage the pain until the off-season.
The first lineup we see after that notably has Ozuna down to the 5th spot in the order instead of his normal 3rd. Riley takes over in that spot.
Even with a RH starter on the mound in Zac Gallen, manager Brian Snitker elected to have Nick Allen ahead of Michael Harris II, with Harris now in the 9-hole.
Corbin Carroll is one of the best lead-off men in baseball and Ketel Marte has been hot of late with a .930 OPS.
