Feeling a draft in here (Part 1)
Briefly

Intern responsibilities in baseball operations involve various tasks such as managing airport pickups, catering, and preparing documentation ahead of the draft. Events leading up to the draft include workouts and interviews for prospective players. A specific instance involved a summer rainstorm while picking up players from a workout. The intern ran to retrieve their car but fell due to wet conditions and parking obstacles, resulting in an embarrassing incident before driving players to their accommodation.
I took off running to get to my car before I noticed the ropes and cones. Forgetting that it was raining, I tried to stop and pivot to go around. I fell and skidded hard, hard enough to rip a hole in my pants and skin my knee.
On game days, they put up cones and ropes to segment the parking lot. I forgot this and just ran, leading to my embarrassing fall.
