Destiny 2: The Edge Of Fate Reveal Announced For Next Month
Briefly

Destiny 2 is gearing up for a significant transition with the upcoming expansion, The Edge of Fate, set to be revealed on May 6. This new chapter follows The Final Shape and depicts major consequences for players' characters, the Guardian, and the Vanguard. Bungie is shifting from Seasons to an Episodes model for content delivery and has mapped out plans for two expansions, including Apollo, launching in Summer 2025, followed by another, Behemoth, in Winter 2025, providing multiple updates each year.
With the events of The Final Shape having major repercussions for your Guardian, as well as the Vanguard, it feels like all bets are off when it comes to the story.
Following the launch of The Final Shape last year, Bungie announced changes to how it planned to deliver content, switching from Seasons to Episodes.
This latest expansion for Destiny 2 is expected to be what was given the codename "Apollo". Per the roadmap Bungie released back in September, Apollo was scheduled to release sometime in Summer 2025.
Developers will discuss the first expansion, The Edge of Fate, and much more during the event, Bungie said in a statement.
