The Braves traded Wisely in a deal to the Rays earlier this off-season when he was designated for assignment by Atlanta. Tampa Bay had recently designated him for assignment."

Mauricio Dubon, who was expected to play a super-utility role, is slated to be the team's starting shortstop."
