After a series loss in Seattle ended a long streak, Atlanta faced a difficult road trip at Dodger Stadium, where it had lost eight straight games and had not won a series since 2023. Atlanta generated chances against Los Angeles pitching, collecting nine hits and three walks, but left 10 runners on base and went 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position. Kyle Tucker tied the game with an RBI double off Chris Sale in the second inning. Shohei Ohtani added an RBI single in the fifth, and Freddie Freeman hit a solo home run in the sixth. The Dodgers’ timely offense proved enough to secure the win and send Atlanta home.
