"In partnership with Workshop SF and local artists to provide everything needed: materials, inspiration, and instruction. No experience required, just bring creativity and enthusiasm. Risa Culbertson (risaculbertson.com) brings her San Francisco based illustrations and fiber sculptures to guide a creative session, where participants can make their own DIY holiday cards. Her work can be seen around the city, and you can take a class with her at Workshop SF."
Free evening craft workshops are scheduled in Mid-Market on December 3, 10, and 16, 2025 from 5:30–7:30pm. Each session features a different project: DIY holiday cards at The Beer Hall, embroidery at SAMS American Eatery, and leather ornaments at haru by SAMS. Events are free but require RSVP; space and supplies are limited. Food and drinks will be available for purchase to support venues. Workshop SF and local artists provide materials, instruction, and inspiration. No experience is required. Featured instructors include Risa Culbertson (DIY cards), Neha (NehaXStitch) for embroidery, and Jennifer Laursen (tiltleather) for leatherwork.
