Goliath and Masondo have appealed to the president and lodged a legal case at the high court seeking to overturn the cancellation. Marian Goodman, an influential New York art dealer who founded her gallery on 57th Street in 1977 and represented many leading artists, has died aged 97. Paul Cezanne's The Card Players (1893–1896) is featured as Work of the Week and appears in a major exhibition of his late works at Fondation Beyeler in Basel until 25 May, curated by Ulf Küster.
