More than 150 volunteers joined Our City Forest's MLK Day of Service Jan. 19 at Rainbow Park to plant trees, mulch, weed and improve green access in an underserved neighborhood; Councilmember Rosemary Kamei helped fund the planting. Our City Forest has honored MLK Day for over 30 years to bring people together for climate resilience.
