Each puzzle answer is a familiar two-word phrase or name where the first two letters of both words match a U.S. state postal abbreviation. An example pairs Colorado with COmmon COld. Twelve numbered clues are provided, each prefaced by a state and a brief definition of the two-word answer to find. A previous puzzle solution converted an automobile make + model plus V into an ethnic food (Kia Soul + V = Souvlaki). A separate challenge asks for a famous actress whose first and last names swap initial letters to yield spoken advice on fermenting milk. Submissions are due Thursday, November 13 at 3 p.m. ET.
