""The Marathon was unlike any experience I've had and not something I will soon forget. It was important for my progress and validation as an artist. I leveled up [...] and I'm ready to tackle subjects that I was reluctant to in the past. It was well worth my time...I would [attend] again in a heartbeat." -Kareem Johnson, Summer Drawing Marathon"
""The Marathon opened my mind to new ways of seeing and conceiving of space and the different relationships that make up a composition. Rather than focusing on the figure alone, I began to see also the fixed objects that contribute to the overall scene.""
