The Studio Museum in Harlem opens its first purpose-built building, designed by Adjaye Associates, and debuts inaugural programming for the new space. The Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo has opened, presenting extensive galleries and monumental displays of ancient Egyptian collections. Tree and Chicken Coops, Wangford (1925) by Stanley Spencer is highlighted as Work of the Week and appears in Love & Landscape: Stanley Spencer in Suffolk at Gainsborough's House in Sudbury. The Gainsborough's House dates run 15 November–22 March 2026, with a subsequent display at the Stanley Spencer Gallery in Cookham from 4 April–1 November 2026. The Studio Museum opens on 15 November; the GEM is open now.
