The Big Deal is a new BBC Two series hosted by Steph McGovern that follows budding art dealers competing for £50,000 worth of British art. Participants learn essential skills including identifying emerging artists, cultivating relationships with established artists, attracting buyers, and completing sales. The show explores the art market's complexities and opportunities. Judges include gallerist Matt Carey-Williams, artist Margo McDaid, and Ani Petrov, vice president of marketing at Artsy. The series will air on BBC Two, BBC Northern Ireland, and iPlayer later this year.
