The Congregation spans the entrance to Brixton Underground station and comprises 20 interconnected scenes that celebrate the figures and history of Brixton. The work is by London-based artist Rudy Loewe and forms the ninth mural in a series at the south London tube station. The scenes depict local landmarks, cultural spaces, and places central to community life. The mural weaves archival research and interview material into visual narratives that visualise the area's rich sensorial experience. The installation pays tribute to people and communities that have shaped the neighbourhood and will be on display for one year.
