The heist provoked public reaction, political fallout, and questions about cultural heritage protection in French society. The Performa Biennial will mark its 20th anniversary in New York from 1–23 November, featuring new commissions and programmatic highlights in performance. A major installation, On the Other Earth, by choreographer Wayne McGregor will be unveiled at Stone Nest in London as part of Infinite Bodies at Somerset House from 30 October to 22 February 2026.
