Little Art Museums of Yachats returns with artists from Florence, Waldport, and Yachats * Oregon ArtsWatch

"The Little Art Museums of Yachats - dubbed LAMoY by its organizers - brings the works of four local artists into three different locales for 2026: the Overleaf Lodge, the Yachats Public Library, and the Drift Inn."

"Last year's effort was 'very successful,' said Debbie Aken, a Yachats artist leading this year's project. The displays from three artists were concentrated in public spaces at the Overleaf, where 'guests enjoyed it so much; they were excited about having the art to enjoy.'"

"LAMoY's goal is to 'promote the Yachats area as an arts and cultural destination,' Aken said."

"The effort is sponsored by Polly Plumb Productions, the nonprofit that brings cultural events to Yachats, and funded by it and a $5,000 grant from the Oregon Arts Commission."

The Little Art Museums of Yachats, or LAMoY, returns in May 2026, featuring works from four local artists in three venues: Overleaf Lodge, Yachats Public Library, and Drift Inn. The initiative aims to make art accessible to everyone, with a launch reception at Overleaf Lodge. Last year's event was successful, leading to increased excitement for art in public spaces. Sponsored by Polly Plumb Productions and funded by a grant from the Oregon Arts Commission, LAMoY promotes the Yachats area as an arts and cultural destination.
