The exhibition “Still Joy - From Ukraine Into the World” is presented by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and PinchukArtCentre as a collateral event of the 61st Venice Biennial of Art. It includes a two-channel video work by Ukrainian artists Malashchuk & Khimei, filmed at a Kyiv rave, with one version shot in 2019 and another after the full-scale invasion. The show also features letters printed on sparkling foam panels, including a message by Ukrainian veteran and Marine Hlib Stryzhko describing a guard’s strawberry chocolate bar during captivity and instructions to warm it under his legs to eat more easily.
