Immersive institution could replace South Beach cinema
"combining elements of theme parks, of art museums and of experiential museums worldwide"
"We really want visitors to see and experience the artwork at the museum and have it inspire them to be a better version of themselves,"
"perfect for Miami Beach and especially Lincoln Road"
Plans call to convert a shuttered Regal Cinema on Lincoln Road into the Superhuman Museum, led by Steve Berke, after Miami Beach Planning Board approved a change-of-use permit. The Lincoln Road Business Improvement District supports the project, with its president calling the project "perfect for Miami Beach and especially Lincoln Road." The museum will combine elements of theme parks, art museums and experiential attractions to create a guided, timed journey that begins with a facial scan and weaves each visitor visually into the exhibition. The project requires significant capital and construction, targeting a soft launch in November 2026 and a grand opening during Miami Art Week.
