Felix Art Fair in Los Angeles is packed with smashing ceramics
Briefly

The Felix Art Fair, taking place until February 23 at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel, saw enthusiastic crowds on its opening day, attracting around 60 galleries. It represents a vital return to form following the January wildfires in Los Angeles. Mills Morán, one of the founders, confirmed that there was a collective desire within the art community to move forward and support one another. Robust sales were reported, suggesting a positive reception from visitors, many of whom were ready to purchase art at accessible price points.
"We had our intuition that there was enough time between the fires and the fair," says Mills Morán, one of the founders of Felix and a co-owner of the gallery Morán Morán.
Sales appeared robust and were reported by every exhibitor The Art Newspaper spoke to-nearly a dozen. Perhaps that is because the preview crowd was in the mood to buy.
